Community Small Grants Program

Camden Council provides funding of up to $6,500 to not-for-profit community groups and organisations through the Community Small Grants Program. Grants are available in the categories of Minor Works, Culture & Events, Health & Community Well Being and Sport & Recreation.

  • When to apply
    Applications will be open from the 3rd of July to the 24th of July. Please download the grant guidelines by clicking here. Application forms will be available online from the 19th of June 2017 on this page.

  • Who can apply
    To be eligible for funding, you must be a not-for-profit incorporated body or a registered charitable organisation offering a project in the Camden local government area, or primarily for the Camden community. Alternatively, you may be auspiced by an incorporated body.

  • Before you apply
    Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Community Small Grant information session to obtain more details on the grant program. The workshops will be held in the Undercroft at the Camden Civic Centre, Cnr Oxley & Mitchell Streets, Camden on Monday 26 June 2017 at 10am and Wednesday the 28 of June at 6pm. Registration for the workshops open on the 19 June 2017.
