Nominations for Companion Animals Advisory Committee
Camden Council is calling for residents and local animal professionals who have a desire to help dogs and cats in the community to join its Companion Animals Advisory Committee.
As part of the Committee you will be involved in developing strategic policies, programs, services and plans for companion animals.
The Committee was established in 2013 with the current committee members working to improve facilities for companion animals and assisting with the creation of Councils Responsible Pet Ownership Program “PAWS Safe”.

Nominations for Camden Access Community Advisory Group
The Camden Access Community Advisory Group (ACAG) was established by Camden Council to work towards providing the highest possible standard of access and social inclusion throughout the Camden Local Government Area (LGA) for people with disability. The group is committed to open communication with local community on disability access issues to support, advocate and work proactively with all organisations to address access issues raised by the community.
Advisory group meetings are held bimonthly at Narellan Library, corner of Queen and Elyard Streets, Narellan.
The Access Community Advisory Group defines access as “the capacity for all individuals to undertake daily life roles and tasks be it physical, social, emotional, or vocational roles through the removal of barriers within the community. The primary focus is to facilitate, educate, and advocate for inclusive environments”.
The Access Community Advisory Group invites expressions of interest for advisory member positions from local service providers, community representatives, people with disability and/or carers of people with disability who are residents of the Camden LGA.

2017 Winter Season Sportsfield Hire
Council is currently calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) for 2017 Winter Season Sportsfield Hire.
Council manages a number of Sportsfields that are available for hire. These include:
Cut Hill Reserve
Harrington Park Reserve
Jack Nash Reserve
Kirkham Park Netball
EOI’s are required to be submitted no later than 4pm, Friday 26 November 2016.
