Commercial Recycling Service

Camden Council offers commercial properties a co-mingled recycling service. This means all paper, cardboard, glass and plastic materials can be disposed of in the same bin.

Items you can put in your recycling bin:

  • Paper and Cardboard
  • Newspaper, magazines and brochures
  • Aluminium cans, trays or foil
  • Steel cans and aerosol cans (remove nozzle)
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Milk and juice cartons
  • Bottle caps and lids (plastic and metal)
  • Plastic with the triangle symbol and the numbers 1-7

Items you cannot put in your recycling bin:

  • Dirty or soiled items
  • Food waste
  • Nappies
  • Plastic bags
  • Polystyrene
  • Waxed paper or cardboard
  • Ceramics, crockery or cookware
  • Hazardous waste (oil containers, paint tins, batteries, gas cylinders)
  • Broken glass
