Camden Council provides all residents with a weekly recycling service (yellow lidded bin).
The co-mingled recycling service provided by Camden Council means all of your recyclable items can be placed in the same bin. After collection, the recyclable items are transported to a materials recycling facility (MRF) where the items are sorted and separated (papers and plastics). After separation, each recyclable is processed to become a new resource.
Handy tips for recycling:
Please rinse all used or dirty containers before placing into the recycling bin.
Crush cans and plastic bottles before placing them in the recycling bin.
Please do not place any recycling in plastic bags as the items will not be recycled and your bin may not be collected.
