Recycling Service

Camden Council provides all residents with a weekly recycling service (yellow lidded bin).

The co-mingled recycling service provided by Camden Council means all of your recyclable items can be placed in the same bin. After collection, the recyclable items are transported to a materials recycling facility (MRF) where the items are sorted and separated (papers and plastics). After separation, each recyclable is processed to become a new resource.

Handy tips for recycling:

  • Please rinse all used or dirty containers before placing into the recycling bin.
  • Crush cans and plastic bottles before placing them in the recycling bin.
