Faces of Camden
Faces of Camden was a curated street exhibition that brought together community submissions of expressive self-portraits, or portraits of one's own unique artistic interpretation, to capture the story of our diverse people.
Following the success of Camden Council’s 2021 Kerbside Exhibition, artworks were once again featured on guard rails, planter boxes, bus shelters, and bins along Argyle Street, Mitchell Street, Murray Street, and Oxley Street. This exhibition provided a colourful streetscape and an opportunity for visitors and locals to admire the enormous talent of the Camden community.
Faces of Camden has now closed for viewing. However, you can view the displayed works in the exhibition catalogue.
All works displayed were submitted through an expression of interest campaign. If you would like to receive information about similar opportunities for artists and creatives, please register yourself on the Creative at Camden Directory.
