Dispose of your extra waste at Recycling Drop Off
Posted 4 years ago
Christmas is just around the corner and we know that means extra recycling waste – so we’ve got you covered with Council’s Recycling Drop Off event.
Residents have the chance to get rid of their Christmas wrapping paper and other extra recycling waste at the quarterly event to be held on Saturday 9 January, 9am-3pm, at Council’s Works Depot located at 5 Millwood Avenue, Narellan.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the event was popular with both new residents moving into their homes and those having Christmas parties at home.
“Council’s Recycling Drop Off events give the community a chance to do the right thing for the environment and recycle in the best way possible,” Cr Fedeli said.
“With Christmas ahead of us I am sure this Recycling Drop Off has come at the perfect time.
“For the safety of both the community and staff, residents are asked to remain in their cars when they attend Council’s Works Depot.”
Items that will be accepted on the day include:
- Bulky cardboard;
- Paper;
- Plastic bottles and containers;
- Glass bottles;
- Cans; and
- Polystyrene.
