Camden Libraries has announced the resumption of a number of programs starting this month.

Programs including Storytime, Code Club, Tech Workshops and many more, which had to be moved online last year due to COVID-19.

Programs set to resume this month with attendees asked to pre-book via the library website. Sessions to begin include:

  • Storytime morning at Narellan Library – Monday 1 March;
  • Storytime night session at Oran Park Library – Tuesday 2 March;
  • Storytime morning at Oran Park Library – Wednesday 3 March; and
  • Storytime morning at Camden Library – Tuesday 9 March.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said it was fantastic to be able to offer face-to-face library programs again.

“Libraries play an important part in the community as they provide residents the chance to not only interact with each other but also a place to continue to learn,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Last year we were quite restricted due to the pandemic and I am excited to give so many of our residents both young and old the opportunity to return to our libraries and enjoy our much-loved programs.

“As always, we are not in the clear yet, so I urge the community to please follow all COVID-19 guidelines when entering our libraries and remain as safe as always.”

Camden Libraries are also actively investigating resuming other programs in the near future.
