TASTE Camden comes straight to your doorstep next week, with the annual Camden Festival event to have you licking your lips for more from your own lounge.

Camden Festival concludes by celebrating the area’s beautiful produce, place and people with a range of online activities, including:

• Food around the world directory – View the variety of cuisines from across the globe available to you in Camden on Council’s Facebook page;
• TASTE Camden Facebook competition – Go into the running to win a $100 or $50 voucher to your favourite local restaurant;
• Build a burger reel – Check out our list of great burgers made by our local businesses; and,
• Cocktail making tutorial – Local bar El Patron shows you how to make the perfect cocktail in your own kitchen.

El Patron manager Nicholas Brand said the bar is working on showing residents a very special TASTE Camden themed cocktail.

“The TASTE Camden cocktail will be carefully put together by our General Manager and we cannot wait to share it with you,” Mr Brand said.

“Cocktails always taste better when you have the company of family and friends, so make sure those living with you check it out and try to make the cocktail with us.”

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said she was looking forward to seeing TASTE Camden come to life online.

“TASTE Camden is traditionally our biggest event in the area and I am confident our community will enjoy what we have in store for them again this year,” Cr Fedeli said.

“We are lucky enough to be living in a fantastic multicultural area with a range of fantastic cuisines available to us locally, and it is important to highlight that.

“Although it is a shame we cannot all be together physically to celebrate, let’s all get together online and celebrate our great area of Camden.”
