Paws in the Park set to thrill attendees

The highly anticipated event everyone has been barking about, Paws in the Park, is just around the corner!
All dogs, and their owners, are welcome to join the fun on Sunday 5 May, 10am-2pm, at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.
This FREE event will include:
- The Pawtastic Parade;
- Two-kilometre fun-walk;
- Pet and general product stalls;
- Free obedience sessions;
- Free health checks by Uni Vets Camden;
- Activities and doggy demonstrations;
- Roving entertainment;
- Pip and Paws Photobooth;
- Activities for families and an inclusive space;
- Visit from Chase from Paw Patrol; and
- So much more!
There will also be two online components to celebrate the event, which include:
- Online pet photo competition – upload a photo to our website for a chance to win; and
- Kids design a poster competition – create a poster describing responsible pet ownership and upload it to our website for a chance to win.
Both online competitions close at 5pm on Friday 26 April. Winners will be announced on the day, Sunday 5 May 2024.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said she was excited to see everyone, and their pups, there.
“This is such a popular event in Camden as there are so many exciting events on that cater to everyone - owners, kids and pups!” she said.
“I encourage all dog lovers to join us at Paws in the Park – you won’t want to miss it,” she said.
