Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli said Youth Week celebrations are a great chance for local young people to get out and about and meet new friends.
“Camden has a wealth of creative, fun young people that are eager to have a good time in the area and Camden Youth Week is the perfect time for that,” Cr Fedeli said.
“Council has put together a fantastic program to help young people celebrate Youth Week including events to allow young people to express themselves, have their opinions heard and also assist them in their everyday life.”
“This is also a great time to make more friends in the local area. The pandemic did take a lot of freedoms away from us for a short period of time, but we have come out of that with flying colours.”
“Our young people are truly our future and it is important for them to feel comfortable and happy in our area and I urge you all to get out and enjoy what Council has on offer during Youth Week.”
