Child Restraint Safety Checks

Camden Council holds four free Occupant Restraint Fitting and Checking events per year for residents to have their child car restraints, harnesses and booster seats installed and/or checked for safety and correct fit.

Events are held every March, June, September and December.

The following event is scheduled to be held on Thursday 13 June 2024. Bookings for this event will open at 8am on Monday 10 June 2024. A link for bookings will be supplied closer to the event date. 

The 16 May 2024 event as part of Children's and Families week is now fully booked. Bookings can viewed online through Bookable via this booking link. 

If you would like to organise to have your seat fitted independently at your own cost please ensure you use a Service NSW Authorised Fitter. A list of authorised fitters can be found here.
