Event and Community Waste
Community and sporting group-organised events can generate both lots of garbage and recyclables. Some of these events may be one-off or annual events like a carnival or fete or perhaps a more regular event held once or twice a week like sport competitions and training sessions. Event organisers are responsible for managing and removing their event waste and cannot use existing public facility bins.
Event organisers can determine how many bins are needed for the event by using the guide on Council’s Waste Bins for Events.
For events in the Camden LGA, Council also provides an event bin service which includes bin hire, bin caps labelled ‘Garbage’ and ‘Recycling’, delivery and pick up, and disposal.
A minimum order of 10 bins for your event at a cost of $19.00. (excluding GST) per bin.
Please complete and submit to Council the online Special Event Waste Bins form FOUR (4) WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT.
