Active Transport Reference Group

Camden Council Active Transport Reference Group aims to increase participation in walking and cycling in the Camden LGA, working with and through Council and other agencies to address issues in a consultative, collaborative and action-oriented approach, ensuring that walking and cycling are viable, complementary and practical transport options delivering environmental, health, cost and health benefits. 

The desired membership for the Camden Cycling Reference Group are representatives from the general community, resident groups, sport cycling clubs, Bicycle Users Groups, Council officers, Chambers of Commerce, Walking Groups, Camden Police LAC, State Government departments (as required) and school communities. There would also be 2 Councillors on the Camden Cycling Reference Group.
