Camden is getting ready to celebrate emerging artists in theatre, art, dance and music, as Council counts down to the highly-anticipated FREE Camden Shorts event.
The Festival of Young Creatives will be held on Friday 12 April from 6-11pm at the Camden Civic Centre. The event will proudly shine the spotlight on the next generation of home-grown talent aged between 12 and 25 years, providing a sensational line up of performers.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney encouraged the community to attend.
“Camden is blessed with so many talented young performers and Camden Shorts presents the perfect opportunity for them to express their passions live on stage and for the rest of us to enjoy it in awe,” she said.
“It’s terrific to be able to have an event like this, particularly throughout Youth Week, where we aim to celebrate our young people and all the ways they enrich our lives and community.
“Don’t miss your chance to experience the exciting talent and cheer them on.”
