Camden Council is seeking community feedback on the management of parks, playgrounds, sports fields and natural areas across the Camden LGA.

Council’s draft Plan of Management, which is on public exhibition, details the high-level direction of the use and management of community land.

The draft Plan provides a strategic framework for Council to guide sustainable development, use, management and maintenance of those sites.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, encouraged anyone who lives, works or plays in the Camden area to check out the draft Plan and share their thoughts.

“Community lands are for you, and so it’s important that their management is guided by your expectations and wishes,” she said.

“That’s why it’s crucial that we get your feedback in finalising this Plan.”

The Plan is on public exhibition until 14 August.
