Residents have the chance to learn more about the support networks available involving drugs and alcohol, with Narellan Library hosting a Drug and Alcohol Info Hub this month.

The Drug and Alcohol Info Hub, on loan from the State Library of NSW, is an interactive display providing access to quality drug and alcohol information for the community.

“The aim of the display is for people to leave with more knowledge and pick up some facts they didn't know before involving drugs and alcohol,” a Council spokesperson said.

“This travelling info hub is highly beneficial to all individuals in the local area and is also a timely reminder to be safe during the upcoming holiday period.

“The program also helps identify support networks and agencies within the local community, in case something does come up in your friend circle.”

The Drug and Alcohol Info Hub will be available at Narellan Library through to Friday 24 December 2021.
