Exciting program of events for seniors
Posted 10 months ago
March is jam-packed with a range of activities for seniors to take part in across the Camden area, as Camden Council celebrates Seniors Festival 2024.
The theme for this year is ‘reach beyond’, which encourages seniors to seek out new experiences and make new friends by participating in the festivities. With health and wellbeing sessions, creative workshops and the ever-popular talent quest and Forget-Me-Not Concert, there’s a way for everyone to reach that goal.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, encouraged seniors to get involved.
“The Seniors Festival continues to grow each year locally. Seniors contribute so much to our community and so every year this is a fantastic way for us to honour and celebrate them,” she said.
“There’s no need to travel far when we have a fantastic line-up of events for Seniors Festival here in Camden.”
“Some of the events have a small fee but many are also completely free. I encourage everyone to book their place now to avoid missing out.”
