Local business owners have the opportunity to share and connect with their peers at the free Pop Up Panel: Evening Event as part of Small Business Month this week.
The Panel will see three local businesses – Burger Frank, Help2u and Performance-PT – discuss how a range of adaptations and innovations have benefitted their businesses over the last two years.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said businesses came up with fantastic ideas throughout the pandemic to continue working.
“Camden local businesses have worked hard to keep a continuous revenue stream during what has been a difficult few years and it is great that they now have an opportunity to share their learnings,” Cr Fedeli said.
“This is a great opportunity for business owners to network and really kick-off Small Business Month with a bang.
“I encourage local business owners to look into Council’s full program and secure their place in one or all of the events on offer.”
Burger Frank owner and panellist Michael Sebalj said he was looking forward to sharing his business tips.
“We were lucky enough to be successful in receiving one of Council’s Digital Adaptation and Innovation Grants and it helped us set up an app,” Mr Sebalj said.
“Our customers can now order online, receive exclusive offers and it has really been good as we can now push people to our app to order as well as help grow our data base.
“When I first opened the business I used to like attending these sort of networking events to learn as much as I could so I encourage local business owners to head down.”
The event, to be held on Wednesday 23 March at Narellan Library Forecourt, will also include complimentary food and refreshments for those attending.
Entry is free but bookings are essential to secure your place at the free Pop-Up Panel: Evening Event. For more information, go to camden.nsw.gov.au/business/business-events/small-business-month-2022
