Have your say on draft Open Space Masterplan in Gledswood Hills
Posted 4 years ago
Residents can have their say on the future of Gledswood Hills’ green space with a draft Open Space Masterplan for The Crest now on public exhibition.
The draft plan was developed recently and includes passive open space, play spaces, hardcourts, a shared pathway, learn to ride centre, bushland regeneration space and a future animal care facility with supporting amenities.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said it was important to hear from the community on the draft masterplan.
“Council is committed to providing high-quality parks and open space for the community and this draft masterplan provides residents with an idea of what could be included at The Crest in Gledswood Hills,” Cr Fedeli said.
“It is exciting to take this pivotal step in a broad project and we want to work with the community to provide what they need in their parks.
“I encourage residents to attend our community consultation meetings to ask any questions or alternatively make a submission online.”
Community engagement opportunities will occur at Galloway Green Park on:
- Tuesday 16 February, 12.30-2.30pm; and
- Thursday 25 February, 9.30-11.30am.
The draft Open Space Masterplan for The Crest, Gledswood Hills will be on exhibition until Wednesday 24 March.
