Do you love our local environment and want to help Council care for it?

Council is giving residents the opportunity to give their local greenery some extra love and care by adopting their street tree. Residents who register for the ‘Love Your Tree’ program will receive a care package, which includes:

• Information on how to ‘love your tree’;
• A bucket;
• A native shrub
• A certificate; and
• Gloves.

Residents have already been caring for street trees for a number of years, and this program gives Council a chance to make it official by adopting your tree.

Street trees are valuable assets that contribute to the amenity of an area and have a range of benefits for residents.

The new trees will line our streets thanks to the Greening Our City Program.
