Garage Sale Trail

It’s time for a spring clean and there is no better way than joining the Garage Sale Trail and extending the life of your pre-loved items.

Garage Sale Trail, to be held over two weekends, 12-13 & 19-20 November, helps residents clear their homes while also taking action for the environment by saving items from landfill and maximising the value of energy and resources that goes into making new items.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said residents can host Garage Sales at their homes or online this year.

“Council is dedicated to investigating options to increase sustainability and minimise items going to landfill and asking residents to join the Garage Sale Trail is a huge step in the right direction,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Garage Sale Trail importantly gives the community an opportunity to extend the life of the stuff they love, meet their neighbours, declutter and make some money.”

“It’s the circular economy in action and it’s something all Camden residents can get behind.”

Between 29 October and 5 November, Camden residents can be part of the Trail Tutorials, a series of inspiring and educational webinars all about sustainable fashion and renovations.

Featuring Barry Du Bois, Annabel Crabb and Craig Reucassel – alongside experts in fashion, home renovations and the circular economy – the sessions are hosted online and free to attend.
