Libraries and Alan Baker Art Gallery re-opening

Camden Council will re-open Camden, Narellan and Oran Park Libraries as well as Alan Baker Art Gallery, with a number of conditions in place from next week.
Council’s libraries will reopen on Monday 1 June, with the following new measures introduced to keep our staff and community safe:
- Maximum of 20 people allowed in the libraries at one time;
- One-hour visit limits introduced;
- Sign in and out requirements;
- Single entry and exit points established;
- Closure of meeting rooms (study rooms to have one chair only);
- Installation of Perspex safety screens at the customer counters;
- Antiseptic wipes and hand sanitizer made available at each location;
- Increased cleaning schedules introduced;
- Social distancing measures introduced for computer bays;
- Reduced hours of operation (go to www.library.camden.nsw.gov.au for amended hours)
- Dedicated hour (9.30-10.30am) introduced on weekdays for vulnerable members of our community; and
- No cash transactions.
Alan Baker Art Gallery will reopen from Thursday 4 June, with the following measures:
- Sign in and out requirements;
- Maximum 20 people allowed in at one time;
- Antiseptic wipes and hand sanitizer made available;
- Increased cleaning schedules introduced; and
- Alan Baker Art Gallery will be open from Thursday to Sunday, 11am-4pm.
