Council has taken customer service to a new level after a live chat function was added to its website recently.

Residents are now able to speak to one of Council’s customer relation team members while on its website, expanding a residents’ option to ask a question from just over the phone, via email or social media.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said offering a live chat option gave residents another avenue to reach out and receive help from Council.

“Council prides itself on providing an exceptional customer experience to our residents and visitors on a daily basis and adding a live chat option on our website is the next step in assisting them,” Cr Fedeli said.

“There are so many ways to get in touch with us for whatever you might need. Our staff are ready and waiting to assist with any request or community need.

“Our live chat will be manned by Council’s Customer Experience team during business hours between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

“Our website is already a fantastic tool and I encourage residents to jump online and check out the new function.”
