Quiet HSC study space at Oran Park Library
Posted 4 years ago
Oran Park Library has expanded its study space for local students studying for their High School Certificate (HSC) this year.
Students can use either study desks or secure space in the Lakeside Room in Oran Park Library on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings, leading up to the exams.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the extra space will give students valuable time to prepare for the biggest exams of their young lives.
“It is important for students to prepare themselves as best as possible,” Cr Fedeli said
“Creating a quiet study space at home can be difficult, so we’re proud to offer this extra space for them at Oran Park Library.
“Students will still have to follow all COVID-19 guidelines and will be spaced out according to social distancing measures for their safety.
“This is about helping our young community through their exam period together with going through an unprecedented time with the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Camden Libraries are also offering information on how students can maximise their HSC outcomes with a variety of online resources.
Students can also Ask-A-Librarian for assistance online.
