Camden’s library service has a revamped website now live for members and visitors to use.

The new website has a refreshed look; improved accessibility, functionality and mobile compatibility; as well as a technological upgrade.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the upgrade will benefit members and guests after successful community consultation.

“Camden Libraries website is extremely popular with our residents with more than 150,000 hits annually and these upgrades will better serve every member and guest,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Our libraries are important cornerstones for our community and their website has been very popular, in particular during the pandemic with thousands of people using the site when the libraries were closed to the public.”

“We are proud to have included the community in consultation of the new website and look forward to hearing your thoughts.”

Camden Libraries’ most popular pages visited on the website are also still available, including:

  • What’s on;
  • Children’s programming including Storyime;
  • School holidays programs;
  • e-Resources / eBooks;
  • Research on Local history;
  • Ask A Librarian; and
  • Library Catalogues.
