School holiday fun just went to a new level with Totem Collective’s Skate Events, to be held at Julia Reserve Skate Park each school holidays until April 2023.

The community events will be filled with fun activities, youth and community services, food and coffee vans, live music and lots of skating!

The events will be held on:

• Wednesday 6 July 2022;
• Wednesday 28 September 2022;
• Wednesday 18 January 2023; and
• Youth Week 2023.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said it was a great opportunity to utilise the facility and encourage young people to connect throughout the school holidays.

“These skate events are the perfect opportunity for community groups to reach out to young people and allow a sense of familiarity to be formed, while feeling comfortable in their surroundings,” Cr Fedeli said.

“It is important that our younger generations feel a sense of community connection and have the opportunity to learn about the support services available to them in a fun and inclusive way.

“I encourage you to bring your children down to the first event on Wednesday 6 July, it’s bound to be a hit!”
