Want to contribute to your community but don’t know where to start? Never fear! Council is partnering with AGL to host Camden’s first ever Volunteer Expo this May.
This FREE program provides local organisations with a chance to highlight their community impact, while also serving as an informational hub for prospective volunteers looking to contribute to the Camden Local Government Area.
The event will be hosted at Julia Reserve Youth and Community Centre, Oran Park, on Saturday 18 May 2024, from 10am – 2pm.
Attendees can expect:
  • A range of talks and interviews with prominent local organisations
  • Network with local groups about a range of local Volunteering opportunities
  • FREE Kids face painting
  • Lions Club BBQ and complimentary beverages
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, expressed her excitement about the project.
“We are so delighted to bring this opportunity to Camden, there is something for everyone, whether it be building a portfolio or wanting to give back to the community,” she said.
“There is no need to travel far to explore the amazing opportunities of the area.”
This initiative is proudly funded by AGL.
