Winterfest is back in Camden

Get ready to put your skates and winter woollies on with Winterfest back in Camden at a new location this year.
Camden’s wintery party will return with an ice-skating ring, Ferris wheel, kids’ activities and much more at Onslow Oval from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 July.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the event is set to be better than ever with a fantastic line up of entertainment and activities being planned.
“It is magical to be able to be out and about after such an indifferent 2020, and Winterfest will be the perfect way to enjoy a wintery wonderland in the heart of historic Camden,” Cr Fedeli said.
“Council is putting together a weekend chock-full of fun for our residents and visitors including an ice-skating rink, ice slide, Ferris wheel, snow globe photo booth, roving winter characters, live-street performers and much more.
“Winterfest is truly for the entire community and will have two inclusive skating sessions per day for people with disabilities and sensory needs.
“While our inaugural event in 2019 saw thousands of people attend over three days at Larkin Place in Camden, we are excited to be in our new home at Onslow Oval this time around and cannot wait to see you all out there.
“It is also important to remind those planning to attend to follow all NSW Health guidelines and stay home if you feel unwell.”
