Youth Safety

The fifth strategic priority of the Camden Youth Strategy is Youth Safety. As part of this Council delivers an annual youth safety forum. 

 

The first forum, held in 2023, found the following results. From this forum, two sub-committees have been developed made up of local school, youth services, social services, government agencies and young people. 

1.) Domestic & Family Violence (Youth Specific) Sub-committee 

2.) Innovative Youth Programs Sub-committee 

Both these committees work towards improving safety outcomes for young people within the Camden LGA by evaluating population indicators and developing projects that will support these.
